Real Jamaican?

for all the only english speakers and all the others who know how to read english i thought about doing a summary but when i wanted to start writing i realized how much nice things we have already experienced since day the we left austria behind aus... 10th july.
so to tell about all those nice stories would demand many hours and also many many hours to read and comprehend, so i decided to just talk about my day today in zanzibar to maybe get a bright insight in whats going on down here.
first off, have been in zanzibar island for two weeks now and will stay another two more. we are working since our feet got track on this island very hard for the local ngo called zanzibar current generation forum as volunteers. so we are working in the hiv/aids sector doing field work, research, networking and public relations work.
so today i woke up the first time as usual at 6 o clock in the morning. saa kumi na mbili swahili clock. same shit different day. mr. bready was the first interrupter in my very magic dream. MKATE MKATEEE SHILINGI MIA MBILI. it was the guy who takes care that every household can get fresh and cheap bread at a very early time. no matter if swahili o no swahili clock. as soon is i feel in my fantastic fantasy world called dream again the second interrupter named mr. donkey started to claim food or whatever. i could not point out any information while i was trying to understand his EEH AHH. ok some time later the donkey realized that there is no fruits acting like that. so this was the opportunity for me to try for the last time to close my eyes and fall deep down from sky into dreamland. but one strange thing about that dream i have to mentoin. when i fell back again i changed my character and from that point acted as a chicken. so i had to search my beloved han as fast as i can and when me, the chicken, was standing in front of my belover i woke up and realized that the hen outside our room was setting up the morning orchestra. KEEKEEREKEE. ok i thought enough is enough. finally i have to fire the start shoot for this day.
so after a cup of chai rangi we headed off for a meeting with a very important government department concerning about hiv/aids called zanzibar aids commission. but unfortunately like almost every time, we cannot get our desired information and had to move our meeting for tomorrow. yesterday they said we should come today because there will be time so what about tomorrow... its a friday!

ok after long time of just waiting we decided to not waste more time and go for a real real real good coffee and a fresh fruit juice. we observed the sea and the fishermen with their daily routine. after that we just walked through the streets tryin to find some nice shops. we endet up buying kangas, very nice kangas. on one kanga there is a coin with the picture of barrack obama and the african flag with very nice patterend artworks around it printed on a yellow background. i bought a sticker with a mosque in gold and then we walked away to find a good and cheap seaside restaurant to fill our stomach. we ended up in the same as yesterday. we paid one buck for a very nice ugali with beans, meat chili and salad. after enjoying the sun the sea the coke and the smoke we had to meet with our president in tarofani garden. we talked about the website i created a few days ago and went together in a internet cafe. after doing necessary work we returned with the daladala (minibus) back home. that i continued working in order to finalize the website and left home again to michenzani ghetto to get to my favourite internet spot.
i was dressed like this: green/jellow shoes, green shorts, yellow/green striped polo shirt, yellow/green cap. so as a miracle i was dressed like the jamaican or tanzanian flag. thats why some people believe i come from jamaica (but i guess its because of tamika ;)). so now i want to give you the playlist of the extremely overloaded daladala sound station:
1. mykal rose & busy signal - real jamaican
2. demarco & busta rhymes - husteler
3. unkown remix from a hustelers tune of which i somehow could not find the page in my mental reggae catalog in order to give this track a title
4. demarco - about my money (hustler!)
during this dala dala ride i thought, maybe when i go to jamaica one day, this ride could cause a dejavu.

and additionally here some pictures of our neighbourhood youth>>>
